The Rhumbelow Theatre is hosting the South African Magical Society for two shows next weekend. The South African Magical Society is the oldest magicians’ organisation in the country and has been around since 1918. They promise a show which will “mystify” you as well as give you a few good “belly laughs.” I think it sounds like something different and interesting.
Tickets for the show are R100 and you can bring a picnic to enjoy in the theatre or meat to braai on the fires which will be provided. There is a 25% discount if you book for 8 or more. Shows are at 8pm on Saturday 13 August and 2pm on Sunday 14 August but the venue opens 90 minutes before the show for you to enjoy your picnic.Tickets can be booked at Computicket. See www.rhumbelow.za.net for more information.
